Spanning Renaissance to Ragtime…and beyond; join us for a memorable musical performance of the seven musicians known as the Long Island Brass Guild. This group is a direct offshoot of the Long Island Brass Trio, which was formed in l974. They are a well known name throughout the music lovers of Long Island. This group has performed in many venues and their repertoire includes works that range from brass classics to music written just for them. The musicians of the Long Island Brass Guild are Doug Mendocha, John Zalewski and Jason Chapman on trumpets; Brad DeMilo, French Horn; Will Sprague, Tenor Trombone; David Schecher, Bass Trombone and Jeff Furman on Tuba. Follow the wonderful brass sounds to the Community Library’s auditorium. A library card is not required.
